Description:  Amtrak California 8813 sits on track 2 at Diridon Station. 8813 is part of the Valley series of Cafe cars, part of the larger California Car fleet. The cars were built in the early to mid 90s, and were at first very problematic, encountering problems with the doors, the floor panels, and the suspension system. In 2009, Caltrans paid 13 million to Alstom to overhaul the cars.
