Amtrak E9 434
Title:  Amtrak E9 434
Description:  Amtrak E9 434 at about 18th Street in Chicago, Illinois on an unknown day in October 1979, Ektachrome by Chuck Zeiler. Number 434 was built to Union Pacific specifications with a freight-style pilot in April 1956 as Milwaukee Road E9 202A (c/n 21605) and after a few months of service it was renumbered to 32A and the pilot was changed to a passenger-style. Prior to being conveyed to Amtrak sometime after May 1, 1971, it was rebuilt at the West Milwaukee Shops.

Title:  AMTK E9 434
Description:  Amtrak E9 434 at Roosevelt Road in Chicago, Illinois on an unknown day in March 1980, Kodachrome by Chuck Zeiler. The first service began on August 30, 1869, and the last service was May 1, 1991.
