Description:  Chicago Burlington & Quincy Railroad 2-8-2 Class O-1-A 5116 at Philadelphia, Pennsylvania on an unknown day in June 1922, photograph by the Baldwin Locomotive Works, print by H. L. Broadbelt, Chuck Zeiler collection. Completed by Baldwin in June 1922 (c/n 55352) and retired in April 1955. One of the modifications to the 1922-built O-1-A's was the provision to allow installation of feedwater heaters. Some of the engines received Elesco Feedwater Heaters, and others received the Worthington type.

Note the step in the running board over the air pump where space has been provided for the installation of a feedwater pump.

Number 5116 was built by Baldwin in April 1922 ( c/n 55352 ) and sold for scrap in April 1955. It was equipped with 27 X 30 cylinders and 64" drivers.
