When the Houston North Shore ended electrified operation, owner Missouri Pacific purchased 6 of these Fageol Twin Coach buses modified for rail service. The standard bus drivetrain & braking system was retained. Note the plugged wheel well cutouts. Weight topped out at 22,900 pounds.at. was retained They were delivered via box car and ready for service on Sept. 4, 1948. The railroad donated #604 in January 1962. This weighed 22,900 lbs. |
