They are pulling a westbound passenger train under the 12th Street Bridge and are about to stop in front of the Altoona Station. During this stop, not only will passengers get off or board the train, but both engine and train crews will change as well.

Visible in the distance is the 17th Street Bridge, as well as three other PRR locomotives; the one in the middle is engine #6513, which will serve as this train's helper up the Allegheny Mountains.
