L867 is shoving their three lumber loads over the Park Street crossing, the red board just before the next crossing west can be seen. The track continues for about a half-mile beyond that, but that portion hasn't been used in over ten years and is rumored to be being torn out later this year. West of there, C&NW abandoned the line as far as Camp Douglas in 1987. They're shoving to clear the switch to the run-around track in the foreground, they'll use that track to access the set-out track where the loads will be spotted for Hartje. |
