Description:  PC 4973 is former NH "Jet" 373. Here she appears to have a string of former Lackawanna smooth side coaches in her train. These once ran on the "Phoebe Snow" but were sold to the MTA for commuter service after Phoebe's discontinuance. Date of photo approximate.

Description:  This bi-directional, "double-ended" electric locomotive was built by GE in 1954 as New Haven #373. It rolled onto the Penn Central roster as their #4973 seen here complete with the large "mating worms" logo. Not sure that it made it out of the PC era. The photo was taken by an unknown photographer.
