Title:  KCCX 125T #1 - Kennecott Utah Copper Co
Description:  Built by GE in November of 1947 originally for the Utah Copper Co which became part of the Kennecott Utah Copper Co, it was renumbered to 401 in May of 1964.Equipped for operation on both 3000 VDC mainline voltage and 750 VDC yard voltage to allow shared use of yard tracks in Copperton yard with the 750 VDC, 700-class. These 7 locomotives (#1-7) were operated in 2-locomotive sets to power the 18 daily 28-mile round trips between Copperton yard and the mills at Magna and Arthur, and after 1964, Bonneville, with a average annual mileage of 50,000 miles. Specs - 256,000 lb operating weight, 62,500lb tractive effort. Date is approximate. Unknown photographer.

Title:  KCCX 85T #763 - Kennecott Utah Copper Co
Description:  Originally built by GE in February of 1942 for the Bingham Utah Copper Mine, it became part of the Kennecott organization later. The unit was retired on 8/16/1982. Interesting note - Kennecott data shows these units as 90 tons; GE data shows them as 85 tons. Unknown photographer and date is approximate.

Title:  KCCX 95T #770 - Kennecott Utah Copper Co
Description:  This unit shipped from GE on 10/14/55 (bldr #32391) and destined originally for the Bingham Utah Copper Mine which became part of the Kennecott Utah Copper Co later.It served until retirement in November of 1983. Original number was 804 but renumbered to 870 in November of 1955 and renumbered again to 770 in October, 1965. Specs - 750 VDC, 250,000 lbs operating weight, 57,700 lb tractive effort.
