Album Info:Starting at Milepost 0.0 at Denver Union Terminal and running to Milepost 99.9 At Speer, WY, the Greeley Sub is often overlooked for the more scenic Moffat Line and Joint Line. Several local freights are based out of La Salle and a variety of freight trains can be found on the Greeley Sub. The line is also used for break-in runs of the UP's steam locomotives. This is a brief look at the Greeley sub between 1998 and 2010.

Description:  Two former Southern Pacific SD39s were painted in Rio Grande colors for the movie "Switchback". Still wearing the Rio Grande paint, the pair was sold to Andesite Rock for service between Commerce City and a gravel pit at Carr, CO. In this photo, the SD39s just arrived at Carr, MP85.9.
