Album Info:Here are three original photos that I took at Indiantown Gap, Pennsylvania, during August of 1972. This is the site of Indiantown Gap Military Reservation (IGMR). During both World Wars, as well as in between, it was the place where soldiers from all over the northeast United States trained for war. Many's the man who passed through this tiny Station; many never returned.

WWI "40 & 8" Car, 1972
Title:  WWI "40 & 8" Car, 1972
Description:  IGMR. Here is an original photo that I took at Indiantown Gap, Pennsylvania, during August of 1972. Shown here is the "Train de la Reconnaissance Francaise" that is on display in front of the headquarters building at IGMR. This is similar to one of the "40 Men, 8 Horses" cars that American Doughboys rode in while in France during World War I. Posing in front of this venerable relic is my friend Twyla Jean King of Middletown, Pennsylvania.
