Here are the front cover and a 17-page cover article by Mr. Frederick Westing entitled "GG1: Story of the Most Famous Electric Locomotives in the Western Hemisphere." They were published originally in the March 1964 issue of "Trains" magazine, pages 20-36. "If ever the expression 'perennial youth' was applicable to locomotives, the Pennsylvania Railroad's GG1-class electrics deserve it. They were doing a marvelous job in the '30's; they performed tremendous work in the wartime '40's and again in the postwar '50's; and now in the '60's, they are still holding the line." (Page 20)
