Toasted Croissant
Title:  Toasted Croissant
Description:  On a warm Saturday afternoon, February 20, 2016 one of Amtraks last three remaining AEM7-ACs was tasked with leading "The Crescent" from New York to Washington. The train is seen here biting into the S-curves at Elizabeth with the 8-car New Orleans-bound train in tow. It was certainly one of the more photographed trains on the Northeast Corridor in some time as railfans try to document these veteran "toasters" in their final months of service.

Americas Railroad
Title:  Americas Railroad
Description:  Late in the morning on Sunday, June 19th, 2016, Amtraks specially painted veterans ACS-64 lead an 11-car "Silver Meteor" northbound through Kearny Junction below an old retired Pennsylvania Railroad signal bridge. Its final station stop at New York Penn Station is only moments away after quick sprint across the Meadowlands. Notice the large American flag on the side of the IDT building from the distant Newark skyline.
