Album Info:You know when the Defect Detector calls out "18 AXLES" something good is coming.. And I wasn't disappointed (except with my photography.. I had the camera on aperture priority from previous use) :/ A real honest to goodness railroad derrick. I haven't seen one in decades. Lead car is pile driver leed / hammer carrier (thanks John McCluskey & Mike Murray), and the lead and trailing flats are boom spacers. I wonder if has anything to do with the MOW hoppers sitting outside my house for three weeks and the humongous pile of used ties north of town?
