Album Info:The Valley Falls yard, the center of operations for the Providence and Worcester Railroad in the Rhode Island area. Located in the town of Cumberland, Rhode Island, 3 daily trains (except Saturday and the only Sunday Train PRWO) originate here - PR2, PR3 and the nightly train PRWO and on the return WOPR. At the southern end of the yard youll find the engine house and the well kept Valley Falls depot used as an office

In 2002 the RDC's were sold to the Wilton Scenic Railroad in New Hampshire. The Wilton Scenic operated on State owned track from Wilton to Bennington, and operated from May of 2003 to 2005 before the owner suddenly passed away in early 2006. The railroad ceased operating and the RDC's were put up for sale. The new owners are the operators of the Newport Dinner train. Set for interchange later in the day with the Seaview Railroad in Davisville, where they will be barged across the bay to Newport, Rhode Island
