Album Info:It not just about the locomotives. The Port Terminal North Yard to Tulsa northbound manifest rolled passed Flynn about 1:45 this afternoon and I caught sight of some older boxcars towards the rear. Moderately tagged with graffiti, reporting marks patched; but they still showed their heritage. That was a call for me to chase it up to Newby. When I got there, I found the northbound H-LALTEA holding the siding at NSS Newby (since 11 am!) with the southbound H-TEAAMY just arriving. It creeped to a stop on the main at SSS Newby and the H-PTNTUL stopped on the main northbound also at SSS Newby. The dispatcher had the LALTEA pull onto the main behind the TEAAMY and had the PTNTUL run around it on the Newby siding to allow the southbound a clear track. But the reason I was here was those boxcars!
