Title:  CTA 4000 Series Car at Harlem Avenue stop in Oak Park
Description:  Date approximate. This is taken from the west end of the Harlem Avenue CTA El platform in Oak Park which is the end of the Lake Street El line. Looking west at a "Lake B" train (which means it skips certain stops). Looking into Forest park and the curved street is Circle Avenue. A little to the left of the train a concrete retaining wall is being built and this area will be a small yard.

CTA 4000 Cars at Oak Park
Title:  CTA 4000 Cars at Oak Park
Description:  Date approximate. This is a "Lake B" (skips some stops in Chicago) arriving at the Harlem Avenue El station in Oak Park which is the end of the Lake Street line. View is looking east. At the left is the C&NW Oak Park station for Chicago bound trains and the platform across from it for C&NW westbound trains (left hand running). That small C&NW platform is new and was needed because the EL now passes through where a long thin C&NW waiting area building once stood.

CTA 4000 Series on Lake Street El at Cicero
Title:  CTA 4000 Series on Lake Street El at Cicero
Description:  Date approximate. CTA train with 4000 series cars westbound from Cbicago. The green and white lights meant "Lake Street El". Photo taken looking east from end of the Cicero station platform. At the far left in the distance you can still see the two tall concrete coaling towers at the C&NW 40th Street yard. One is just to the right of the steam plume. The other further right. 40th Street (actually 40th Avenue) was named Pulaski Road in 1913 but the yard name stuck.
