Title:  Hurricane Charley Damage
Description:  Of Course you can see I live in Central Florida, Right where the Hurricane hit. My Family and I made it alright, but as you can see the Railroad didnt. All of the crossings in the area look like this, broke. This is the crossing gate at North End Double Track. I saw a few high railers go by, making inspections.

Old RR bridge
Title:  Old RR bridge
Description:  This old bridge is still standing after over 10 years of CSX taking the Aloma Brach out. I belive somebody uses it today as a drive way. This line had lots of Industry, but CSX didnt feel like keeping the line up, so in the early 90's most of the line was torn up.

Tank Loco
Title:  Tank Loco
Description:  This small steam locomotive is located on a old siding of the Aloma branch. Before the branch was torn up, who ever owned the steamer would take joy rides on it up and down the line. Its in really great shape. Another interesting note is that it ran at the grand opening of the Central Florida Railroad Museum in 1980.

Old RR bridge
Title:  Old RR bridge
Description:  This bridge is also on the Aloma Branch, but this is still used. CSX took up the line from Aloma to Winter Springs. The line ends today at a factory in Winter Springs and there is some talk about taking the rest out. The branch starts in Sanford.
