On October 29, 2019, Westbahn, Stadler and Austrian Train Finance AG announced the delivery of 15 six-car double-decker multiple units for almost 300 million euros. The financing company is wholly owned by Stadler owner Peter Spuhler. The new Westbahn trains are identical to the Kiss 2, which went into operation in 2017. They have 526 seats and four small self-service cafes. Here, the 4010 018 on a test run along the Lake of Constance. |
