Description:  Due to a power shortage on the NS system in early 2023 several SD70M-2s were reactivated to pick up the slack. One of these the 2769 was assigned to C65 (Daily Mingo to Conway and back turn) replacing the SD60E #6984.

Description:  NS 1170 was tasked with leading the rail train to Mingo from Conway. At RD14 they would strike a tree quite hard causing considerable damage. Here they are meeting the geometry train in East Liverpool. They would continue to Wellsville for inspection by a trainmaster and a recrew.
