Description:  Built by the Lehigh Valley's own Sayre Shops in 1913, this quirky 0-6-0 camelback served for 32 years before being scrapped in August of 1945. No information was given about the date, location or photographer so "guess-timations" were used.

Description:  Built by Baldwin in May of 1916, this quirky 0-8-0 camelback #3169 served the Lehigh Valley in yard switching for 31 years before being scrapped in March of 1947. Specs - serial #43331, camelback, class L-5, 200 psi boiler pressure, 21x28" cylinders, engine weight of 173,500 lb, tractive effort of 41,160 lb. Unknown photographer

LV 2-8-0C #815 - Lehigh Valley
Title:  LV 2-8-0C #815 - Lehigh Valley
Description:  Here is one of the beefier camelbacks that Lehigh Valley used in freight service and yard switching. Built by ALCo-Schenectady in May of 1907, the camelback was superheated later by Baldwin in 1916. After 38 years of service, the loco met the scrapper's torch in August of 1945. Specs - serial #42666, class M-36, 62.5 " drivers, 205 psi boiler pressure, 23x30" cylinders, engine weight of 214,900 lb, tractive effort of 44,245 lb. Unknown photographer.
