Description:  Most railroads a yellow over red is an approach signal. On CSX's Chicago Line at automatics before an interlocking, it can mean that but many times it means an open track meaning NO move. Track 2 today is set for a medium approach with a flashing green on the lower head.

This scene is very different in 2018. One, the reefers are gone, two, the telegraph lines are gone and three, the signal bridge was flooded and replaced by mast signals in 2011.
