TLE&W 202
Title:  TLE&W 202
Description:  TLE&W 202 is a Baldwin 0-6-0, built in 1920 for Detroit Edison. Upon its retirement from DE, it was donated to Michigan Railroad Club, who owned it until 1973, when the Toledo, Lake Erie & Western purchased the locomotive. By Late 1974, the locomotive was operational and spent the next seven years hauling TLE&W's excursion trains. It currently resides with other equipment in TLE&W's Grand Rapids yard, awaiting funds for restoration.

Title:  Stranded Yard
Description:  Another view of the Toledo, Lake Erie & Western's yard in Grand Rapids. The TLE&W runs from Grand Rapids to nearby Waterville, Ohio. Unfortunately, no trains have operated into or out of Grand Rapids for five years now, due to bad conditions on the Maumee river bridge, several hundred yards behind the photographer. This has effectively land-locked the equipment in the yard.

Description:  Just across the Maumee river from Grand Rapids is the tiny village of Providence, Ohio. Here the TLE&W has several more pieces of equipment stored on the former elevator siding. 9752 is one of two Alco switchers serving as a part source to keep a third unit in operational condition.

Description:  While 9752 never ran for the TLE&W, 112 did at one point. Sadly, it looks to have been retired due to fatal mechanical problems. Along with 9752, it now serves as a part source to keep sister S-2 5109 in operational form for pulling excursion trains.
