Description:  Yes, its backlit (thank you geniuses at railpictures.net for pointing that out - its not like I didn't know that, but I thought that a photo of a train running on a gravel road might interest them even with a bad lighting situation) - but there is no way I am not taking this photo and no way it is not a favorite shot of mine because it is a train running on a gravel road. I can't decide what is worse - the tracks or the road.

Description:  A shadowy pressence on a bright sunny day duwe to being backlit. The rails shine through. Backlit photos at times can produce some interesting results - especially with old industrial structures. Obviously, a lot of people try to avoid severely backlit shots like this, but they can convey a mood. And they are my photos so the fact that I like it is what counts.
