While the depot here is staffed by NPS personnel, when I stopped here on this day the caboose was staffed by people associated with the CVSR. Notice the unit beyond the caboose. Thanks to Steven Langsford for providing info and photos on his site.

Description:  During B&O/Chessie days the crossing had flashing lights. As CVSR began operation the lights were removed. With the increase in train movements, automobile and hike and bike traffic this is a good thing. Notice that the gates are not yet installed and the lenses are turned away from traffic. Not quite ready yet.
