Album Info:Photo's taken along the CSX Abbeville Sub on May 20th 2009. After my final day of high school i decided to go do a little railfanning. In Athens nothing much was happening, so i decided to go get lunch, but of course the minute i pull into the restaurant parking lot i hear some garbled radio transmissions (That new antenna was not worth 30 bucks.....) shortly followed by the sound of a K5HL horn. After a moment of indecision i decided screw eating, and headed out to Bogart to see if i could catch him. Thanks to the MOW slow order, it worked, and Q619 rolled into town shortly. Though he passed through town at about 10 mph, by the time the last car was past he was up to atleast 35 and attempts to catch him again proved fruitless. I was almost up to the rear of the train in Winder where i got stopped at a red light. Figuring that I didnt stand a chance of keeping any sort of pace with him through Winder i gave up there. However something better was waiting on the siding, A708, the Winder local behind a SD50 and C40-8. The local was waiting for another southbound which soon showed up behind a single GEVO. After the Southbound cleared the local headed to Auburn and i headed back to Athens.
