Album Info:Got a heads up that the ICE 6100 was leading the 488 at Dodge Center, so that was all I needed to hear. After finding 488 outside of Dodge Center, we start heading East for the 489, which will meet the 488 in a few hours. I have been wishing to shoot a former Milwaukee SD40-2 on the DME since I can remember, and just as I was mentioning that I hear the Operations Manager call up "DME 6363". Score! The rest is history, so I hope you enjoy this short and sweet set of shots. Thanks for looking!

Description:  Train 488, the daily Eastbound on this stretch of railroad, is nearing its meet at Dodge Center. Although they are almost to Dodge Center, the DME 6363 (489) is in the process of tripling the hill out of Lewiston!

Description:  The City Of Rochester is nearing its namesake as it blows over this classic CNW bridge as motorists go about their day without so much as a glance. Years back this may have been the CNW 6805, and those cars could have been brand new Buick Regals! I can dream....

DME 6075

Description:  With the CP applied DME gracing(hardly!) the side of this old cast off, DME 6075 is now once again owned by the CP. Its pretty funny how most of the DME's engines are all ex CP in some way, as the 63XX's are former Milwaukee as well!
