Album Info:This is a folder of Cotton Belt 4-8-4 #819 on it's first trip to Texas after being restored by a tremendous effort from the Cotton Belt Historical Society and support from Southern Pacific/Cotton Belt. 819's restoration was coordinated largely by my uncle (Bill Bailey), who was 819 Project Director / Chief Mechanical Officer. The 1988 trip to Tyler was the first substantial run of 819 away from her Pine Bluff home.
