Description:  As you can see, it was snowing this particular day. The track between the one we are sitting on and the car you see on the left is the main, we were down it before I took this shot, and its all covered with snow! There was a Track Geometry car out on the railroad and it was in our way, so we had to wait for it.

Interchange
Title:  Interchange
Description:  The train on the right is the D79604 which was already near/in the DTC BAUGHER block (which applies to the main track only, we are on a siding and do not need permission to occupy it) so we merely cut away from our train, went against our pick-up and got in the clear so that they could take our junk. I'm sitting in the MMID 303 - our other engine this day was GP9 201.

Title:  UBHF - Wide Load Special
Description:  On May 9, 2005 we ran a "Wide Load Special" from Union Bridge to Highfield, which can be seen on the rear end of the train. The wide loads are portions of the old kiln at Lehigh Cement's Union Bridge plant. One of the few active WM signals anywhere (we have two at this location) can be seen in the background.

Description:  Here we are on the Tillamook District main running through some of the street trackage in Hillsboro. Coming in from the east, Tri-Met's MAX (light rail, for those who don't know) runs parallel to the old SP here, on what used to be the Oregon Electric. From Hillsboro west, the OE is PNWR's operation, and there is no longer a direct connection between the two pieces of the OE here.
