Albany Turn
Title:  Albany Turn
Description:  While waiting for the Albany OE Switcher to finish doing whatever it was they were doing, I jumped out if the cab and grabbed this shot. This is the northern end of the OE yard. We are on the main, 114 Track is next to us and the Kemwater Stoage is where the tank cars are. The 3601 is probably my favorite SD45 to run. The 3603 behind there is having some issues, and I think the 3604 is pretty good too.

Albany Turn
Title:  Albany Turn
Description:  The Albany OE Switcher was down in the south end of they yard gathering a motor and 1 Hazmat car for us to take north. We had just backed our train into 114 Extension and I went out to line the 114 Extension switch back for the main so the Switcher could do their thing. Of course, I did not pass up an opportunity to grab a quick shot :) For what it's worth, the track to the right of the 3601 is the Main, and the next track to the right (with the Centerbeam, or "FI7" to P&W guys) is the Storage.

Kinda blurry
Title:  Kinda blurry
Description:  George Lavacot's (aka Lavacot Locomotive Works) pair of old SP SD9s rest on the old Valley & Siletz main line. I thought these were usually parked in or near a building and were totally inaccessible, yet you could walk right up to these to get shots (in the morning, for best light) if you so desire. All that stuff in the foreground is part of the CWR plant, I believe. I don't know if the P&W owns the CWR plant or if it's a private concern.

Mac Switcher
Title:  Mac Switcher
Description:  SD9s are the best locomotive I've ever run. Here is the 1852 (obviously) getting rained on at McMinnville. For those who don't know, Oscillating headlights are grandfathered into the FRA requirement for ditchlights. So, if you have a functioning Mars light, you don't have to have ditch lights. This is the reason (I assume) the units George Lavacot owns has brand-new looking Mars lights on them.
