Description:  I spent an afternoon at Manchester, which was well worth the effort, though the cloudy skies didnt help much. I have to go back on a clear day. There are several good photo locations there. The best is the view off the GA 85 overpass, which yielded this view of a southbound off the Lineville Sub coming in for a crew change with 135 cars.

Hard to run down
Title:  Hard to run down
Description:  I was headed to Stevenson to set up for the day, and saw this train rolling east as I was westbound on US 72. Its a divided highway, so I had to go another half mile the wrong direction, then get turned around and run all the way through Bridgeport, which is SLOW!! I was able to get ahead before the bridge, but it was a grab shot out the window of this Georgia Power coal train.

Description:  I saw several Georgia Power coal trains while in the area. These had a standard consist, which included a single DPU about halfway into the train. The train sets stayed together, and the DPUs kept their position, loaded or empty. This is an empty train heading back north, the DPU right in place.

Description:  I was at Folkston the week after Florence wreaked havoc on the east coast, and CSX operations were seriously curtailed, so there was not the normal traffic level at this usually busy junction point. I did catch this 127 car northbound, the only train Id see in the two and a half hours I spent there. So it goes.
