Album Info:These are shots of the Chicago South Shore and South Bend MOW teams working on the catenary replacement project near Portage, IN. The entire CSS overhead line from the Illinois/Indiana border to Michigan City is to be replaced, approximately a 2 year project while working around the CSS commuter schedule. These photos were taken as they team worked along US 12 which parallels the line from Gary to near Michigan City.
