There are/will be my best shots of locomotives and rolling stock. I have planned trips to Decatur and Galesburg Ill., so watch for those pictures. I have some "In Cab" shots as well for this album. Description:  This was taken in South Old Monroe at the Dalbow Road crossing. The time now is 11:47am. A normal trip from here to down town Old Monroe is 5 mins tops......took them 20 minutes. Plus when I reached the crossing the train had stopped.

Description:  After the DPU cleared Dalbow Road, I continued my quest to see why they were crawling down the line. I had made it near Gibbs, Mo. and they were letting the coal train before them enter the UE Coal Power Plant, since the speed restriction for the plants track is 10 mph, it explains their slow pace.

Description:  I got a call from a friend who said there was a freight train stopped in Old Monroe to repair a busted knuckle and he said there where 5 loco's on the train. Then he said what are these things that look like boats? I knew what he meant....Wind Turbines. Amazingly there are 7 heavy duty flat cars each with 2 turbines on them.

Description:  After the conductor and brakeman had repaired the broken knuckle; BNSF 4561 backs down the siding to rejoin its train. Here they have just finished airing back up the train and are pulling off. Soon they will break the crossing. The crew was pretty to close to running dead on hours as well.
