Album Info:To prepare for the return trip, the two Western Maryland Scenic RR GP30's uncouple and proceed at a snail's pace with some street running toward the Ftostburg turntable. Due to the excessive length of the two locos, they are just rotated a few few to the run around track. Still it makes for an interesting activity to watch.

Description:  Once they are moved to the run-around track, the locos slowly roll forward across the street to the waiting passenger cars. A crew member stands watch at the street crossing although a snail could probably outrun the units!

Description:  The nose of Western Maryland Scenic #502 is about to clear the turntable as the pair proceed to the head of the returning passenger train. Now it will be WMSR 502's turn to be covered by the "rainstorm of leaves" knocked off the trees by the new lead unit, #501.
