Album Info:The Southern RR conveyed 257 high hood units to NS, # 5000 - 5256. Quite a few units were purged and only 102 are currently on the roster, with 31 listed as stored. Whereas all of the former SOU SD40-2's had new low hood and Admiral cabs added, less than half of the remaining units have Admiral cabs. (Purged units included high hood and Admiral cab units).
