Album Info:I heard that the NYS&W had been working the Utica job on Fridays recently, so I went there to document the action. There's a lot to see and there's a lot of photos here. Some of them might seem repetative, but like I said, the point is for documentation. There is much more to be seen on the system and someday I'll go for more.

Description:  While the NYS&W is sorting things out on the south side of CSX's New York-Chicago main, a second Mohawk, Adirondack & Northern train leaves Utica at 09:13. This three car westbound train is operating long hood forward and headed for Rome, NY.

Coincidentally I just discovered that McCraith distributes a beer named Switchback Ale! That's something that this railfan is gonna have to find and give it a try!

Description:  It's 13:48 and they're moving back over to the north side of US route 20. From there they'll park it and take a long overdue lunch break. At this point I decided to head back to Utica with hopes of catching "The MAN" coming back to town. I would have chased this job back to Utica, but they would'nt be doing that today. The crew only has about two more hours before they "outlaw"; not enough time to even finish what needs to be done here, let alone the trip back!
