B&O E7A #73 - Baltimore & Ohio RR
Title:  B&O E7A #73 - Baltimore & Ohio RR
Description:  Although not a crisp photo, it does show the stretch of B&O power at the engine terminal in Jersey City which could handle the passenger and later, the freight trains. The date in 1955 is approximate in this unknown location. I don't believe this E7A unit made it to the CSX roster - probably sold for scrap in the late 1960's.

BO GP40-2 #GM50 - GM Annversay Special
Title:  BO GP40-2 #GM50 - GM Annversay Special
Description:  B&O had a newly built GP40-2 painted solid gold & numbered "GM50" to celebrate GM's 50th year of building locomotives. Known as the golden Anniversary Special, it was painted a solid gold color including its trucks. Eventually it was repainted in 1984 and renumbered B) 4164. When it joined the CSX family, it was renumbered again as CSX #6063. The loco is automatically destined for the B&O Museum upon retirement. Thanks Jason Trew (see comment below) for the correction and information.
