Title:  CP 4-6-4 #2819 - Canadian Pacific
Description:  With a string of freight cars behind, Canadian Pacific 4-6-4 Hudson #2819 is heading up the train on this day in 1941. Specs - class H1b, 75" drivers, 22x30" cylinders, engine wt 351,200 lb, tractive effort of 45,254. Wm E. Paul took this photo.

ST.LUC FREIGHT CREW MONTREAL 1959
Title:  ST.LUC FREIGHT CREW MONTREAL 1959
Description:  Canadian Pacific H1b 4-6-4 2819 with the 45 car freight I rode. The engineer was happy to have 2819 - he said running a diesel was like operating a trolley car.

FREIGHT CREW ST.LUC YARD MONTREAL 1959
Title:  FREIGHT CREW ST.LUC YARD MONTREAL 1959
Description:  The crew of a 45 car freight powered by Canadian Pacific H1b 4-6-4 2819. The engineer provided a cab ride and I sent him this picture but I regret I lost the names. From left to right are the two brakemen, the engineer and the fireman. The engineer was one of many who were sad that the steam era was coming to an end.
