Three Pacific National units bring a Brisbane to Melbourne container train south through the NSW countryside on a beautiful Sunday morning. NR45 is followed by NR73 and 9211. The part of the line over the Border Range (between Queensland and NSW) fetures spectacular scenery, heavy grades, tunnels and a complete loop (they call it a 'spiral' down here) but suffers from light freight traffic, particularly on the weekends. This train is the the only one listed on the freight timetable through here prior to darkness. |
