Description:  This is another one of Ed Ellis' new toys, the ex-BN 9906. It came across MO from the St. Louis museum to be rebuilt and repainted at Mid-America car, where it will emerge in IC paint.

Description:  Locomotives inside the shop at Mid-America Car include an IANR MP1500D and an Ex-CB&Q/BN/MARC/NMOT E8 (Rebuilt into an E9AM by MK) which Ed Ellis recently bought for his Iowa Pacific High Iron Travel specials. The engine will be overhauled and repainted into IC Passenger Colors.

The safety cab is from a scrapped SD90, and the E8 hatch will go back on a classic covered wagon currently being overhauled here at Mid-America Car.
