The selected location is based on 1935 and 1952 CB&Q Locomotive Assignment Sheets. Number 588 was built by Baldwin in 1904 as a 2-6-2, class R-4 number 1932 (c/n 24542). It was rebuilt by the CB&Q in April 1930 to an 0-6-0, class G-10 number 588 and sold for scrap in June 1954. |
