Description:  Oil Power. Here is a duplicate 35mm color slide of Pennsylvania Railroad engine #8943 and another unit whose road number is not recorded. Both are LS-25M transfer units built by Lima-Hamilton and rated at 2,500 horsepower each. #8943 was constructed in May of 1951 and retired in July of 1966 after just 15 years of revenue service. The photographer's name, the exact date, and the location are not recorded.
