||Northbound Coal. Here is a photo of a Pennsylvania Railroad locomotives taken by Philip R. Hastings, 5 May 1957. Shown here is PRR engine #4632, an I-1SA (2-10-0) "Decapod" built by the Baldwin Locomotive Works during 1923 and retired in January of 1960. Also visible are two PRR Diesel locomotives: #5756 and #5757. Both are AFP-20's built by the American Locomotive Company in 1947 and rated at 2,000 horsepower each. Given the placement of this photo in the series, the implication is that these locomotives uncoupled from the coal train, went to the water tower, and then only engine #4632 recoupled with the coal train. Photo taken near Leolyn, Pennsylvania.
