Description:  Apart from being one of only two units in the "updated" WSOR scheme with one fat gray chevron in place of the narrow ones on the short hood, I really wanted to catch 3871 leading because it is one of only two or three units left on the railroad with a well-tuned Leslie RS3L horn.

Description:  A lucky catch on the "CN & FOXY Railroad Radio Stream -Appleton, WI" Youtube stream put on by "TJ H" lead me to this Wisconsin Southern Train. WAMX 3871 (GP38-2), WAMX 4170 (SD40-2), WAMX 4219 (SD40-2) and WAMX 3868 (GP38-2) rest on the main at "Oshkosh" per the railroad. However the train is actually just north of the Hwy 91 and Clairville Rd. intersection crossing in the Town of Algoma, WI.

Description:  Wisconsin Southern's 2nd generation EMD power gives a smoke show as they start south across the Hwy 91 and Clairville Rd. intersection crossing in the Town of Algoma, WI. This location is know as Oshkosh (Which the city is actually a 1300 feet to east of this location) on the WSOR. WAMX 3871 (GP38-2), WAMX 4170 (SD40-2), WAMX 4219 (SD40-2) and WAMX 3868 (GP38-2) were in charge of this train.
