Shown here is Pennsylvania Railroad engine #6765, an M-1A (4-8-2) "Mountain" built by the Baldwin Locomotive Works during August of 1930 and retired in October of 1953 after 23 years of faithful service. In this context, it's pulling a freight train around the Curve and up the Allegheny Mountains to Gallitzin and points West. (#53 of 72)
