On the left is PRR engine #1194, an L-1S (2-8-2) "Mikado" built by the Baldwin Locomotive Works during January of 1917 and retired in February of 1958. Behind it is PRR engine #26, an L-1S (2-8-2) "Mikado" built in Juniata during January of 1915 and retired in December of 1957. This photo comes from a color slide set entitled "Steam In Indian Summer" that's produced and distributed by Blackhawk Films of Davenport, Iowa (772-55). |
