The Shops mated cylinders from an older Lima built 2-10-2 (2900 class) with the boiler from an older 2-8-2 (1500 class) giving rise to this 2-10-0 Decapod #3613. Specs - 64.5" drivers, 225 psi boiler pressure, 30x32" cylinders, engine weight of 325,000 lb, tractive effort of 85,395 lb. No date, location or photographer was listed for this photo. |
