Title:  MILW 4-4-2 #28 - Milwaukee Road
Description:  Originally built by Burnham, Wms & Co in August of 1903 as MILW 4-4-2 #941, it was renumbered to MILW 3013 in 1912 and finally MILW 28 in 1938. Original specs - serial #22708, class A1, 78" drivers, 200 psi boiler pressure, Vauclain compoumd with 22x26" & 13x26" cylinders, engine weight of 140,700 lb, modest tractive effort of 14,196 lb. The loco was finally retired in May of 1940. Stripped of its bell, light and tender, this may be one of the very last photos ever taken of the loco by an unknown photographer.
