Description:  Dziobko. Here is is a duplicate 35mm color slide of a photo by John Dziobko, Jr., that was taken in Altoona, Pennsylvania, on 10 September 1951. Prominent in the center is Pennsylvania Railroad engine #9530 and two more units whose road numbers are not recorded. All were built by GM-EMD and rated at 1,500 horsepower each. #9530 was constructed in September of 1948. Visible in the background is a portion of Juniata's 8th Street Bridge, with ROSE Tower situated just beyond it.

All of these diesel-electric locomotives are parked at the 8th Street Bridge in Juniata, awaiting their next helper/pusher assignments up the Allegheny Mountains to Gallitzin and back.
