C&NW 12566 is a former C&NW bay-window caboose, still in C&NW colors. It was parked on a siding just east of the Boone and Scenic Valley Museum facilities. Previous history unknown, and I don't know if this particular car is used on any of the B&SV trains. |

B&SV 11068 was parked on a siding, just east of the B&SV station, on September 3, 2011, a cool and rainy Saturday. This view shows the red flashing light, white handrails, numbers painted in black above the door, the (screened?) door, and perhaps other things. I don't know if this car was used in excursion train service, but I'd sure like to ride on it! |
