Silver Palm  Contributor's Pick!
One Amtrak's daily Miami to New York trains, number 90, the Silver Palm, runs north towards Washington DC during the summer of 2000. The train is pulled by a P42/P40 tandem and features nine cars of several different styles, including an Ambox, three Heritage, one Viewliner sleeper and four Amcoaches. Hopefully the people in the convertible are enjoying the view of this typical Amtrak train of the period.
